Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City is closed Saturday, September 19, and its official calendar currently shows no confirmed operating hours for the rest of September. The live park-hours page labels the water park closed and leaves the remaining September dates unavailable, so visitors should not plan a late-season water-park trip without checking again first.
That closure is especially important because Six Flags is already selling next year's passes. The operator's 2027 season-pass page lists the Gold Pass at a sale price of $65 per person, with renewals at $55, before processing fees of up to $9.99 and applicable taxes. The offer says the pass includes admission to Six Flags parks in Texas and Oklahoma, general parking, and visits during 2026 and 2027.
What the pass does—and does not—promise
The regional admission language gives the Gold Pass broader value than a Hurricane Harbor-only product. However, “visits during 2026” does not create an operating date. A pass can only be used when a participating park is scheduled to open, and the Oklahoma City water park's current calendar does not show another September session.
Six Flags also lists a $169 sale price for its 2027 Prestige Pass, with renewals at $159, plus fees and taxes. That tier expands admission to all Six Flags parks and adds limited preferred parking, free fountain beverages during visits, two free bring-a-friend tickets annually and a 15% food-and-merchandise discount. The Gold tier carries a 10% discount and discounted friend tickets. Buyers should compare those benefits against where they will realistically travel, rather than treating the higher tier as a water-park upgrade.
Before buying for 2027
The practical move is to separate today's sale from next season's schedule. Six Flags says both pass tiers cover 2027, but the park's main page does not announce a 2027 opening date. Families planning around school breaks or a specific weekend should wait for confirmed hours before making nonrefundable travel arrangements.
Current pass pricing can also change, and the renewal bonus shown online has a November 1 deadline. Take a screenshot of the benefits and price displayed at checkout, review the fee line, and confirm which Texas and Oklahoma parks are included on the purchase date.
