The practical headline for September 19 is simple: all four theme parks are operating into the evening, while the resort’s two water parks are on different tracks.
Saturday offers the weekend’s broadest Magic Kingdom window
Disney’s official resort schedule lists Magic Kingdom from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. today, September 19. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is posted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and EPCOT from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. That makes Saturday the cleaner choice for visitors who want a late Magic Kingdom evening without a separately ticketed Halloween party occupying the night.
Water-park visitors should pay special attention to the same schedule: Blizzard Beach is listed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while Typhoon Lagoon is closed for refurbishment. Check the calendar again before leaving your hotel because Disney can revise operating hours.
Sunday brings the next Halloween party
The next Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Sunday, September 20. Disney says the separate-ticket event begins at 7 p.m., with party guests allowed into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m. The official 2026 schedule also lists additional September parties on September 22, 24, 25, 27 and 29.
For guests without party tickets, Sunday requires a different evening plan than Saturday. Confirm Magic Kingdom’s day-guest hours in the My Disney Experience app, and consider placing EPCOT, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom later in the day rather than assuming a standard Magic Kingdom night.
Cosmic Rewind gets a one-day soundtrack Monday
EPCOT’s most specific near-term change arrives Monday, September 21. Disney says Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will play Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” all day instead of drawing from its usual randomized song lineup. Connections Café and Eatery will also offer a one-day Supernova Sip, with both nonalcoholic and bourbon versions.
This is a one-day program rather than a permanent ride change. Guests building an EPCOT plan around it should still expect normal attraction demand and should check My Disney Experience for live operating information.
2027 After Hours tickets reach the public Tuesday
Disney’s next planning deadline is Tuesday, September 22, when 2027 Disney After Hours tickets go on sale to the general public. Eligible guests at select Disney resorts and partner hotels already have access. The announced 2027 runs cover select nights at Magic Kingdom from January 11 through July 19, Hollywood Studios from January 16 through August 25, and EPCOT from January 21 through August 19.
