Adventureland's 12th annual Oktoberfest takes over the Altoona park Saturday, September 19, giving adults one final standalone celebration before the park shifts into its Halloween season the following weekend.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is restricted to guests 21 and older. Adventureland's official event guide combines operating rides with live music, Oktoberfest-inspired food and beverages, games and contests. Guests should bring valid government-issued photo identification because the age limit applies to the entire event.

Three Main Stage sets structure the day: The Pork Tornadoes perform from noon to 2 p.m., Elton & Billy — The Tribute! follows from 3 to 5 p.m., and Mini Kiss closes from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Additional performances are scheduled around the park at Oinks, Iowa Beer & Wine, Coke Cafe, Gulch and Sam Adams, while activities include giant Jenga, Connect Four, bags and keg bowling.

Adventureland lists 19 attractions for the event, including Monster, Outlaw, Phoenix, Dragon Slayer, Flying Viking, Underground, Giant Sky Wheel and Space Shot, but the operator warns that ride availability can change. The park's 2026 event announcement describes Oktoberfest as a full-day adult event and confirms its 11 a.m.-to-9 p.m. operating window.

As of September 16, the park's ticket page lists event-only admission at $39.99, reduced from the posted $69.99 gate value. That ticket is valid only for the September 19 Oktoberfest. Adventureland also says current 2027 season passes include the remainder of the 2026 season, including Oktoberfest and Phantom Fall Fest; buyers should check the live checkout terms before purchasing because prices and promotions can change.

Visitors driving to the resort can buy parking in advance. Adventureland's parking page currently lists single-day parking at $21 and preferred parking at $26. The resort is at 3200 Adventureland Drive in Altoona, immediately off Interstate 80.

The park operates cashlessly. Credit, debit and prepaid cards are accepted, and guests carrying cash can use free conversion kiosks at the front gate, Guest Services, the Lighthouse and Kokomo store, according to Adventureland's payment policy. Outside alcohol cannot be brought onto or removed from the property.

Oktoberfest is followed by Phantom Fall Fest beginning September 26 and running on select dates through October 31. The daytime portion is family-oriented before haunted programming begins at 6 p.m.; it requires its own applicable admission.
