Water Country USA is entering its final operating weekend of 2026, with the Williamsburg water park scheduled to close for the season after Sunday, September 20. The park's published 2026 calendar marks September 19 and 20 as the remaining operating dates, making this weekend the last opportunity to use eligible 2026 admission products before the seasonal break.
Visitors should check the official hours page shortly before leaving home. Water Country USA operates on select dates, and the operator says hours and schedules can be updated. The park is closed on Thursday and Friday before the weekend, so travelers should not assume daily operation simply because summer temperatures continue.
What current Fun Card buyers receive
The park is already selling 2027 Fun Cards with access to the final 2026 weekend included. The current offer lists a Water Country USA-only Fun Card at $81.99 and a two-park Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA card at $119.99 before taxes and fees. Prices can change, and parking is not included.
The water-park-only product is valid through September 20 this year, then from May 8 through September 19, 2027. The two-park card adds Busch Gardens admission through November 1, 2026, and again from February 12 through September 6, 2027. It does not include Busch Gardens Christmas Town, and operating days still vary; buyers should compare those date windows with their actual travel plans before treating the advertised discount as savings.
Member offers expire with the season
Members should also review their accounts before the weekend. Water Country USA's September rewards advertise bonus free guest tickets valid through September 20 and $10 in Splash Bucks for September 19 and 20. Rewards are subject to eligibility and availability, do not accumulate, and must be redeemed under the terms shown in the member account. Splash Bucks have no cash value and must be used on the redemption date.
Once Sunday ends, the operator's public calendar shows no further Water Country USA dates until May 2027. Busch Gardens Williamsburg remains the nearby fall option, while Kings Dominion begins its separately structured Halloween programs this weekend. Guests focused on water attractions should therefore treat September 19–20 as a firm seasonal cutoff rather than expect another late-September extension.
