Six Flags Over Georgia’s Fright Fest is now running on select nights through November 1, with two new haunted mazes, two new scare zones and a firm 7 p.m. cutoff for guests who leave and want to re-enter.
The most important planning distinction is that general admission does not include every nighttime attraction. The park’s event page says scare zones, live shows and most rides are included, but haunted mazes require a separate Haunted Attractions Pass. Current online listings show park tickets starting around $45 and Fright Fest bundles from $69, before processing fees and taxes; those promotional prices can change by date.
What is new and what costs extra
The 2026 maze lineup adds Infestation, a story built around a failed insect experiment, and Finklestein’s House of Fun, a warped carnival attraction. Camp Slasher is also listed. The park separately promotes branded premium experiences based on Saw and The Conjuring. Visitors interested in any maze should verify the attraction-pass option attached to their selected night before checkout.
New outdoor scare zones include Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities and Nevermore. The park also lists Disciples of the Beast, Rockville’s Festival of Fright and The Rotted Ones. Because scare zones are included with admission, guests who skip the paid mazes can still experience much of the nighttime entertainment.
Families with younger children have a different option. The official events calendar lists daytime Tricks and Treats during the same September 12–November 1 seasonal window, while Six Flags says Fright Fest is not recommended for children under 13. Families should treat the day and night programs as different experiences rather than assume one format fits every age.
Rules that can change the visit
Guests may not wear costumes, costume masks, face coverings, special-effects makeup or other identity-concealing attire during Fright Fest. Bags and personal items are subject to screening. Re-entry is prohibited after 7 p.m., and re-entry wristbands are not issued during the 90 minutes before that cutoff. Anyone leaving for a car or hotel should obtain a wristband first and return well before 7.
The park’s ticket page also states that standard tickets include fall events only on select dates and do not include haunted mazes. Six Flags’ broader fall guide advises visitors to check each park’s calendar because dates and offerings differ. Confirm the operating calendar and showtimes in the official app before traveling.
