LEGOLAND California’s Brick-or-Treat opens Saturday, September 19, with a new interactive trail and important ticket differences for annual passholders. The family event runs on 12 select dates through November 1, so visitors need to choose an event date rather than assume the full Halloween program operates daily. The resort’s official event page lists September 19 and 26; October 3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and 31; and November 1.
Regular admission tickets dated for one of those days include Brick-or-Treat. Premium and Elite annual passholders may attend without a separate ticket or reservation, but active Silver, Gold, Platinum, Standard and Preferred passholders must buy a separate event ticket, advertised from $24 per person. LEGOLAND’s passholder guidance repeats the event dates and advises affected passholders to secure their admission in advance.
What is new in 2026
The main addition is Brick-or-Treat Street, an interactive route built around six monster-themed homes. The park also lists a Potion Mischief light trail, Halloween customization choices for Galacticoaster, seasonal changes to The Dragon and Driving School, new character greetings and a collaborative Halloween mural. Trick-or-treat stations, costume contests, live entertainment and returning monster meet-and-greets round out the event.
Families visiting on other operating dates can still find a lighter Halloween Season program from September 20 through October 30, including themed décor, treats and character encounters. That distinction appears in the resort’s current ticket offer, which advertises children’s tickets from $39 when purchased online with at least one full-price adult ticket. The offer allows up to four discounted children’s tickets per qualifying adult-ticket transaction and is scheduled to end November 1; taxes and capacity limits may apply.
Planning details before arrival
The operator describes Brick-or-Treat as a not-too-scary event aimed primarily at children ages 2–12. Its published rules allow full masks only for children; adults may wear partial masks that do not cover the entire face. Loose costume accessories and inflatable costumes cannot be worn on rides, and hard toy weapons are prohibited. The park says paper treat bags will be available, but it does not currently offer allergy-friendly candy at the trick-or-treat stations.
