Dorney Park's Halloween Haunt begins Friday, September 18, but visitors planning to enter the haunted mazes need more than ordinary park admission. The operator's Haunt ticket page says a Haunted Attractions Pass is required for maze access, making the add-on the key purchase decision for opening weekend.

The park lists the maze pass from $15 for a selected night, before processing fees of up to $9.99 and applicable taxes. Park admission is not included. An online bundle combining admission and maze access starts at $60, with the same potential fee and tax additions. Both products are valid on select nights from September 18 through October 31, according to the official event offer.

That distinction also matters for season-pass holders. Dorney Park says its Gold Season Pass includes access to Halloween Haunt, but the operator's season overview separately states that a Haunted Attractions Pass is required for the mazes. Visitors should therefore check the product in their cart rather than assume that event admission unlocks every attraction.

The adult-oriented nighttime program includes haunted mazes, open-air scare zones and live entertainment. Dorney Park's current lineup identifies five mazes, including the new “Blair Witch: No Signal,” as well as five scare zones. The operator notes that showtimes can change, so guests building a schedule around performances should consult the park app on the day of their visit.

A daytime option starts Saturday

Families looking for a lower-intensity visit have a separate opening date. Tricks and Treats starts Saturday, September 19, and runs on select dates through November 1. The daytime event advertises trick-or-treating, costume contests, live shows, crafts and Planet Snoopy rides before the evening scares begin.

Single-day park tickets for the family event currently start at $39 online, while a four-ticket-minimum family pack starts at $35 per person and requires entry before 2 p.m. Both offers may add processing fees of up to $9.99 and taxes. Prices can change by date, so the practical comparison is the total checkout price for the specific visit date, not the advertised starting price.

The park's 2026 event calendar confirms Halloween Haunt on select nights through October 31 and Tricks and Treats on weekends through November 1. Guests should verify operating hours before traveling because neither listing represents daily operation.
