Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s current 2026 calendar lists two weekend fall events through Nov. 1—Tricks and Treats and Oktoberfest—while the park’s separate Fright Fest webpage still displays 2025 dates. Visitors should not use that older page as a 2026 schedule.
The park’s current event directory schedules Oktoberfest on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1 and Tricks and Treats on weekends from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1. It does not list a 2026 Fright Fest event. That absence does not establish that a nighttime program has been canceled; it means the operator’s current public calendar does not provide a 2026 date or ticket basis for planning one.
Two daytime programs share the weekend
The Tricks and Treats page describes a family-focused daytime event with a trick-or-treat trail, hay maze, costume activities, crafts and scheduled entertainment. Six Flags says times may vary on the day of a visit. The same page advertises date-specific park tickets from $39 and identifies fall events as included on selected dates; taxes may apply and live pricing can change.
Discovery Kingdom’s Oktoberfest page schedules its food, beverage and live-entertainment program on the same Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1. Offerings include a keg-tapping ceremony, music, contests and German-style food. Alcohol is limited to guests 21 and older, and the operator says entertainment, activities and ride availability may change.
Why the Fright Fest page needs caution
A still-accessible Fright Fest page is labeled for select nights from Sept. 20 through Nov. 2, 2025—not 2026. It also carries 2025 sponsorship language. Treating that page as current could lead visitors to expect nighttime mazes or operating hours that the 2026 calendar does not confirm.
The practical approach is to plan around the two events the park presently dates for 2026, then recheck the official calendar and Six Flags app shortly before departure. Visitors interested in a nighttime event should wait for a clearly dated 2026 operator listing rather than relying on last year’s page or third-party schedules.
TAQ’s California Theme Parks page can help compare other parks; current waits, park hours and local weather remain available through the standard parks service.
