Halloween Saturday gives Central Florida visitors a genuine last-call planning day. Magic Kingdom closes early for its sold-out final party, several adult nighttime events reach their final weekend, and family celebrations at LEGOLAND Florida, Peppa Pig Theme Park and Busch Gardens still have limited hours left.

Five developments shaping Halloween

  1. Magic Kingdom ends regular operations at 6 p.m. before its sold-out Halloween party.
  2. Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights enters its final weekend, with one more event night Sunday.
  3. SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream reaches the end of its posted run tonight.
  4. LEGOLAND’s Brick or Treat continues through Sunday, while Peppa’s Halloween Party has its final date today.
  5. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay closes its Howl-O-Scream season tonight, but its daytime family event continues Sunday.

Walt Disney World

Magic Kingdom’s regular day ends at 6 p.m.

Disney’s official Magic Kingdom calendar lists Early Entry from 7:30 to 8 a.m. and regular park hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The separately ticketed Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party follows from 7 p.m. to midnight. Disney marks the event sold out, so ordinary day guests should build their evening elsewhere and allow time for the departing-day-guest and arriving-party-guest overlap.

EPCOT is the clearest full-evening alternative among Disney’s theme parks: Disney’s current calendar lists it from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Animal Kingdom is posted from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those hours can still change, so recheck the operator calendar before transferring rather than assuming another park will absorb a late Magic Kingdom exit.

Universal Orlando

HHN has tonight and Sunday left

Universal’s official Halloween Horror Nights page lists the 2026 event on select nights through November 1. Its planning FAQ says general event entry begins at 6:30 p.m. and recommends arriving at least an hour before opening. Guests with a same-day HHN ticket and a Scream Early ticket may enter Universal Studios Florida after 2 p.m.; Stay & Scream requires qualifying daytime admission plus the event ticket.

Use the final-weekend status to make a ticket decision before traveling, not at the gate. Universal’s operating page also lists Volcano Bay closed for maintenance, with reopening planned on or before April 1, 2027, so it should not appear in a Halloween-day water-park plan.

Around Central Florida

SeaWorld splits Halloween between daytime and nighttime

SeaWorld’s official Howl-O-Scream page lists its separately ticketed nighttime run through October 31. The family-oriented Spooktacular, by contrast, continues on select dates through November 1 and is a daytime park offering. Match the ticket to the experience: regular daytime admission does not automatically cover the adult nighttime event.

LEGOLAND and Peppa offer family options

LEGOLAND Florida’s Brick or Treat runs today and Sunday and is included with eligible admission and select passes. LEGOLAND’s official support page lists 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. theme-park hours on event dates; the Monster Skytacular drone show has an 8 p.m. presentation tonight. The resort’s official October guide lists today as the final Peppa’s Halloween Party date at Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, included with general admission.

Busch Gardens closes one event and extends another

Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream page lists October 31 as the end of the adult nighttime event’s 2026 run. Its family-oriented Spooktacular continues through November 1. Adventure Island’s official calendar lists the seasonal water park closed today, another reason to verify the exact property rather than treating the Tampa parks as sharing one schedule.

Plan and Follow Your Day

Open TAQ’s Live Theme Park Wait Times app and select an individual park for current posted waits and operating information. For Halloween Horror Nights, use the dedicated Universal Studios — HHN selector for available haunted-house waits. Add the web app to a phone or tablet through the browser’s Add to Home Screen option for app-like access.

Continue regional coverage at the Florida Theme Parks hub. TAQ’s Sports Desk provides schedules, scores and viewing information and can likewise be added to a home screen.
