Dollywood’s Harvest Festival is now operating through October 31, and the most useful distinction for fall visitors is that the park’s daytime festival and Great Pumpkin LumiNights are part of the regular visit, while the previously announced Harvey’s Boo Bash is a separate after-hours product on three October Fridays. For families not buying that add-on, the regular festival still adds two nightly dance parties, an Apple Market and returning pumpkin displays across the park, according to Dollywood’s September 10 festival release.

The 2026 festival runs September 14 through October 31. Dollywood’s official event page says Country Fair becomes Candy Corn Country, with themed characters and fall surprises, while Great Pumpkin LumiNights returns after dark with thousands of carved pumpkins, Hoot Owl Hollow, an illuminated guitar and a 40-foot pumpkin tree. The park also lists dozens of daily Southern gospel, country and bluegrass performances.

What is new during the regular park day

The two LumiNights Dance Parties are scheduled each evening and are described as part of the nightly festival atmosphere. The new Apple Market brings fall-focused food to the Dollywood Express depot area; the park’s release highlights fried apple pies, apple dumplings and an apple-cider flight. These additions matter because they are available during normal Harvest Festival operations rather than only during Boo Bash.

Visitors planning around entertainment should check the daily schedule before arrival. Dollywood says most guests arrive from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and recommends arriving about an hour before opening for the quickest entry, or after lunch as an alternative. The park also advises buying parking in advance to move through the toll plaza faster.

Build the visit around daylight and darkness

A practical plan is to use daylight hours for rides, Candy Corn Country and live music, then remain after sunset for LumiNights and the dance parties. Exact operating hours vary by date, so visitors should confirm the official calendar rather than assume the park closes at the same time every night. Passholders no longer need reservations, although Dollywood notes entry can be delayed when capacity is constrained.
