Kennywood visitors planning Phantom Fall Fest should check two details before buying: the park’s current dated-ticket offer starts at $37.49, while select 2027 season-pass prices are scheduled to rise after Sunday, October 4. More importantly for families and teen groups, the park requires every guest age 17 or younger to enter with a qualifying adult chaperone during all Fall Fest operating hours.
The West Mifflin park’s event guide lists Phantom Fall Fest on select dates through November 1. Operating hours are 6–11 p.m. Fridays, noon–11 p.m. Saturdays and noon–10 p.m. Sundays. Admission includes more than 30 rides, seven haunted attractions and four scare zones; the new Ghostwood Estate: Open House is among the 2026 haunts. Unlike an event that sells haunted-maze access separately, Kennywood says all seven haunts are included with admission.
The park’s current ticket page advertises dated admission as low as $37.49 and any-day admission at $59.99. Those are online promotional prices displayed September 30 and can change by date or inventory, so buyers should confirm the final total before checkout. Gold and Platinum 2027 passes include the remainder of the 2026 season, including Phantom Fall Fest and Holiday Lights; Kennywood says select pass prices increase after October 4.
Chaperone and entry rules
Kennywood’s security rules require guests age 17 and younger to be accompanied at entry by an adult at least 21 years old with an original, physical government-issued photo ID. One adult may chaperone up to six minors. The adult must remain inside the park and be reachable throughout the visit, although the group does not have to stay together continuously. Independent coverage of Kennywood’s revised rules also noted the higher Fall Fest age threshold compared with the park’s general summer policy.
The same security page limits ordinary bags to 8 by 5 by 2 inches during the event, with exceptions for medical and diaper bags. Outside food and drinks are barred except for one sealed water bottle or items needed for special diets. Guests 13 and older may not wear costumes, and no guest may wear a face-covering mask after 6 p.m.
Daytime programming is designed for families, with trick-or-treating and seasonal activities before the haunted atmosphere intensifies after dark. Kennywood’s season announcement says its Fall Fest tasting booths operate Saturdays and Sundays from opening until 6 p.m. Ride and show availability can vary, so visitors should review the calendar shortly before traveling.
