Worlds of Fun visitors planning beyond this fall now have a new pass system—and a meaningful access decision following the Kansas City park’s departure from Six Flags. The park’s current offer prices the 2027 Hero Pass at $75.99 and the Legend Pass at $130.99, before applicable taxes. Both include the remainder of the 2026 season, while purchases made by Oct. 11 also include unlimited all-day Fast Lane during June 2027.
The lower-priced Hero Pass covers Worlds of Fun and Mid America Adventure, the renamed former Six Flags St. Louis. It includes general parking plus 10% discounts on food and retail. The Legend Pass covers all eight Enchanted Parks, raises the discounts to 15%, and adds two free guest tickets and four single-use Fast Lane redemptions per season. The park’s pass FAQ says both products can be used immediately after purchase; operating calendars and individual event availability still control when benefits can be redeemed.
That two-tier structure matters because park ownership changed in April. A Six Flags filing confirms that EPR Properties acquired Worlds of Fun and five other U.S. parks on April 6. EPR’s closing notice identifies Enchanted Parks as the operator under a long-term lease.
For current passholders, the purchase date determines where an older pass works. Worlds of Fun’s transition guide says eligible Six Flags passes purchased before April 6 retain their original 2026 admission benefits, including applicable Six Flags access. Passes purchased after April 6 are limited to the eight Enchanted Parks. Existing passes do not automatically renew for 2027.
Renewing customers may receive $10 off as many as eight 2027 passes. The email address attached to the current pass serves as the renewal code, and discounted renewals must later be processed at the park before use. Buyers should compare that extra step with a new purchase and confirm the included parks before checkout.
The practical split is straightforward: Hero is the lower-cost Missouri option, while Legend is designed for travelers who expect to use the wider Enchanted Parks network or its added guest and Fast Lane benefits. Prices and promotional terms can change, so visitors should verify the checkout total and operating dates before committing.
