Hurricane Harbor Rockford is giving current passholders until November 1, 2026, to qualify for a free bring-a-friend ticket when they renew. The park’s 2027 pass page currently lists the Gold Pass at $89, or $85 for renewals, before a processing fee of up to $9.99 and applicable taxes.
The deadline matters because the bonus is not the same as the standard discounted guest-ticket benefit. Six Flags identifies one free bring-a-friend ticket as a renewal bonus for customers who act by November 1. Visitors considering the offer should confirm the eligible visit dates and redemption conditions during checkout before treating the bonus as part of the pass’s cash value.
Gold covers Midwest parks; Prestige expands farther
Rockford’s comparison table says the Gold Pass includes admission to Midwest Six Flags parks and water parks, free general parking, discounted bring-a-friend tickets and a 10% food-and-merchandise discount. The posted price is $89 for a new pass and $85 for a renewal.
The Prestige Pass is listed at $209, or $199 for renewals. Its benefits expand admission to North American Six Flags properties and add limited preferred parking, free fountain beverages on each visit, two free guest tickets annually and a 15% food-and-merchandise discount. The operator says both pass levels permit visits during the remainder of 2026 and throughout 2027, but availability still depends on each park’s operating calendar.
That regional access is relevant for northern Illinois visitors. The Great America offer shows the same $89 Gold and $209 Prestige pricing structure and identifies both theme-park and water-park admission in its benefit comparison. Travelers should still select the home park they expect to use most and review any location-specific restrictions before paying.
A membership uses a different clock
Rockford also sells memberships rather than only calendar-season passes. Its membership page lists Gold at $8 per month and Prestige at $14 per month, each after a $20 initiation fee plus processing fees and taxes. The operator describes memberships as valid for at least 12 months and offers a free bring-a-friend ticket to customers who enroll by November 1.
The practical distinction is timing: the pass is marketed for the balance of 2026 and the 2027 season, while membership is presented as a 12-month-or-longer product. Before choosing, compare the total cost over the intended ownership period, check payment and cancellation terms at checkout, and verify which add-ons are excluded.
