Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is advertising Howl-O-Scream single-night tickets from $48.99 through Sunday, September 20, giving visitors a short window to lock in the current starting price for the separately ticketed nighttime event. The park’s official event page says Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights through October 31, with the event beginning at 7 p.m. and ticket holders permitted to enter starting at 5 p.m.
The advertised price is a floor, not a guaranteed rate for every night. Guests select a date when buying, and Busch Gardens says prices exclude parking, taxes and service fees. Regular daytime admission, Fun Cards and annual passes do not provide event entry; the Howl-O-Scream ticket also does not include daytime admission. Tickets are date-specific, nonrefundable and subject to availability, with no rain checks or readmission.
This year’s event includes six haunted houses, six scare zones, two shows and nighttime access to selected rides. The new Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape house joins five returning houses, while three new scare zones are part of the outdoor program. The park describes the event as intended for mature audiences because of intense content, including staged violence, gore and blood, and it does not admit guests wearing costumes.
Visitors weighing the base ticket against line-skipping products should note that admission is sold separately from most upgrades. On the park’s upgrade page, Front Line Fear starts at $79.99 for one-time priority access to five haunted houses but excludes Anaconda. Front Line Fear Extreme starts at $99.99 and adds one-time priority access to major rides, while the $119.99 Ultimate version provides unlimited priority access to five houses and rides plus one Anaconda entry. Prices can vary by date.
Florida weather remains a planning variable. Busch Gardens’ weather policy explains that outdoor rides can close temporarily during unsafe conditions, even when the park remains open. Because the Howl-O-Scream terms specifically state there are no rain checks, visitors should review the forecast and the selected night’s operating calendar before completing a nonrefundable purchase.
