Universal Orlando passholders face a quick succession of deadlines and new offerings this week. The resort’s annual Appreciation Days benefits end Wednesday, a new Halloween Horror Nights magnet begins Thursday, and the first Universal Nights event at Epic Universe arrives Saturday.
Passholder Appreciation Days end Wednesday
Universal’s official passholder benefits page lists September 30 as the final day of the 2026 Appreciation Days period. That makes Tuesday and Wednesday the last opportunities to use several limited-time benefits, subject to availability and the restrictions attached to each offer.
The expiring benefits include $40 savings on qualifying one-day Park-to-Park tickets for friends and family, with those tickets required to be used by September 30. The page also lists up to 40% off participating hotel stays through Wednesday, 30% savings on select Universal Express purchases at front-gate windows, extended operating hours for the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon, special menu items and several merchandise offers.
Passholders should not assume every Appreciation Days perk ends in the same way. Universal identifies some items as available only while supplies last, and ticket, hotel and Express availability can vary. Check the specific offer before making a special trip.
A new HHN magnet starts Thursday
The calendar changes immediately on October 1. Universal says a complimentary Halloween Horror Nights 35 passholder magnet featuring Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow becomes available Thursday while supplies last.
Pickup is scheduled at the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon at Islands of Adventure from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida from park opening to closing. Universal specifically says the magnet is not available during HHN event hours. A valid pass may be required, so bring it rather than relying only on a screenshot or purchase record.
The resort’s official HHN page lists the separately ticketed event on select nights through November 1. Guests using TAQ’s wait-time tool during the season can choose the dedicated Universal Studios — HHN selector for near-real-time posted haunted-house waits.
Universal Nights debuts Saturday at Epic Universe
The first Universal Nights at Epic Universe begins October 3. The limited-capacity, separately ticketed event runs from 9 p.m. to midnight, with ticket holders permitted to enter at 7 p.m. Universal lists additional dates on October 17 and 24 and November 6 and 20.
Universal says the event includes access to the park’s attractions and experiences during event hours, character appearances, selected unlimited snacks and Coca-Cola Freestyle refills in a provided cup. Tickets start at $179 plus tax for guests age 3 and older, while annual and seasonal passholders receive a 10% ticket discount. The company’s official media announcement provides the same event framework; availability and operating details can still change.
Volcano Bay’s maintenance closure is four weeks away
Universal’s current park-hours and closure page says Volcano Bay is scheduled to begin a maintenance closure October 26 and reopen on or before April 1, 2027. The dates remain subject to change, but travelers planning a late-fall or winter visit should not build an itinerary around the water park without rechecking the calendar.
