Bakso’s remaining Animal Kingdom window is limited
Disney announced Monday that Bakso will move to another Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited zoo later this fall under a Species Survival Plan recommendation. Disney has not published an exact departure date, so guests hoping to see him should treat Maharajah Jungle Trek as a priority rather than a last-hour stop. The official trail page is the best place to recheck operating times, although animal visibility is never guaranteed.
Magic Kingdom closes at 6 p.m. tonight
Disney’s official calendar lists Magic Kingdom from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. Tonight is one of the resort’s separately ticketed Halloween party dates; party-ticket holders may enter at 4 p.m. before the event begins at 7. Day guests should finish priority attractions before the late-afternoon arrival wave and plan transportation before the early close.
Looking ahead, Disney’s 55th-anniversary collection is already available ahead of the resort’s October 1 anniversary, and the official food guide lists new Halloween items beginning Thursday at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Passholder benefits end Wednesday; the HHN magnet starts Thursday
Universal’s passholder page lists September 30 as the final day for Appreciation Days. Expiring benefits include qualifying friend-and-family ticket savings, select hotel and Express discounts, extended UOAP Lounge hours, special menus and merchandise offers. Availability and restrictions vary, so passholders should verify the individual offer before making a special trip.
On October 1, Universal begins distributing a complimentary HHN 35 magnet while supplies last. Pickup is scheduled at the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and The Tonight Shop from park opening to closing, but not during HHN event hours.
Universal Nights debuts Saturday
The first Universal Nights at Epic Universe runs Saturday, October 3. The separately ticketed event operates from 9 p.m. to midnight, with entry beginning at 7 p.m. Universal says it includes after-hours attraction access, character appearances, selected unlimited snacks and beverage refills. Additional dates run through November 20.

Busch Gardens preschool registration closes Wednesday
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay says Florida families must register by September 30 for the free 2026 Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Preschool Card. The official product listing says the eligible child’s first visit must occur by October 1; after activation, admission continues through the end of the applicable 2026 season. Registration is online only, and families should review the required age and Florida-residency documents before traveling. The park’s ticket page repeats the registration and first-visit deadlines.
