Lake Compounce [opens Phantom Fall Fest](https://www.lakecompounce.com/discover-the-park/events-shows/phantom-fall-fest/?ref=theamericanquorum.com) on Saturday, September 19, pairing family activities during the afternoon with five haunted houses and two scare zones after 6 p.m. The event runs on select weekend dates through November 1, and the same admission covers both portions of the day.

The park’s [official event guide](https://www.lakecompounce.com/discover-the-park/events-shows/phantom-fall-fest/?ref=theamericanquorum.com) lists Saturday hours of 1 to 10 p.m. and Sunday hours of 1 to 8 p.m. Families who want the gentler version should arrive early: daytime programming includes the new Candy Corn Country trick-or-treat trail, Spookley the Square Pumpkin appearances and a new K-pop-inspired Ghoul Girls show. The park explicitly moves into its scare program at 6 p.m.

At night, the [haunt lineup](https://www.lakecompounce.com/discover-the-park/events-shows/phantom-fall-fest/attractions/?ref=theamericanquorum.com) consists of Project Nightmare, mAlice in Wonderland 3D, Bloodcraft, MediEvil and Malignant: Overgrown Evil. Sawmill Slashers and The Atomic Prom are the two scare zones. Lake Compounce also advertises more than 20 operating rides and attractions, including night rides on Boulder Dash and Phobia Phear Coaster, although ride availability can change.

Lake Compounce is advertising a [limited online ticket](https://www.lakecompounce.com/discover-the-park/events-shows/phantom-fall-fest/?ref=theamericanquorum.com) for $24.99, while its date-selected single-day ticket is listed from $32.99\. Both include all-day park access, the five houses and scare zones; children age 3 and younger enter free. The operator notes that some activities may cost extra. Admission is also included for 2026 and 2027 Platinum, Gold and Silver passholders.

The most consequential planning rule applies to teenagers. Under the park’s [chaperone policy](https://www.lakecompounce.com/plan-your-visit/park-rules/?ref=theamericanquorum.com), every guest age 17 or younger must enter and remain with an adult age 21 or older. One chaperone may supervise no more than four minors and must show government-issued photo identification. The event guide also says bags larger than 8 by 5 by 2 inches are prohibited, except bags needed for childcare or medical purposes.

Tickets include a [weather guarantee](https://www.lakecompounce.com/plan-your-visit/park-rules/?ref=theamericanquorum.com): if the park closes because of inclement weather, guests are offered a return ticket. The broader park policy says weather closures do not produce cash refunds, so visitors facing a poor forecast should understand that distinction before buying.
