# Kentucky Absentee Portal Opens September 19

Kentucky’s online portal for requesting a mail-in absentee ballot for the November general election is scheduled to open statewide Saturday, September 19, giving eligible voters just over a month to apply. The opening is the first major voter deadline of the fall calendar. Voters who prefer to cast a ballot in person have several later windows.
